Another shipment of aid has been sent from Pakistan to assist those affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

KARACHI, Pakistan - Another batch of relief aid has been received for the earthquake victims in Turkey. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported that approximately 5 tons of supplies, including blankets and winterized tents, were sent through a Pakistan International Airlines flight. Pakistan has established multiple routes for aid distribution, including air, sea, and road corridors. The earthquakes, which had magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6, resulted in the death of over 24,600 people and injury of more than 80,000, according to Turkey's disaster management agency.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken action by establishing a relief fund and forming a cabinet committee to coordinate relief efforts nationwide. He also expressed condolences to Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous and reassured that all resources will be mobilized to help those affected by the earthquakes in both countries.

The Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan, a mainstream religious party, is making efforts to assist as well. They are setting up camps in southern Sindh province to collect aid and their relief wing, Al-Khidmat Foundation, has sent rescue teams and trained volunteers to the earthquake-stricken areas of Turkey.

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), also known as Pakistan-administered Kashmir, has established a "special relief fund" for those affected by the recent earthquake on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) that divides the region between Indian and Pakistani control.

Sardar Tanvir Ilyas, the Prime Minister of AJK, announced the creation of the fund following approval from the Cabinet. He has appealed to both philanthropists and the general public to generously donate to their Turkish and Syrian counterparts.

Ilyas mentioned in a tweet, "When AJK was devastated by the 2005 earthquake, the government and people of Turkey were the first to come to our aid.

Members of the AJK Cabinet and assembly, as well as employees from grades 6 to 22, will contribute their five-day salaries to the relief effort for the earthquake victims.
